Tokyo After Dark
A night awash in colour, creativity and extraordinary imagination. Created in collaboration with the Art Gallery of NSW, this one-of-a-kind JAN LOGAN piece celebrated Tokyo After Dark and the Sydney opening of Takashi Murakami’s luminous world, where art, joy and adornment collide. Created as a unique commission in the JAN LOGAN Sydney studio, this exceptional collector's piece bridges contemporary art and haute joaillerie, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and cultural influence.
An expression of high jewellery artistry, this one-of-a-kind bespoke creation pays homage to the vibrant and imaginative universe of Takashi Murakami. Set with 68 pink sapphires, 126 Ceylon sapphires and 126 blue topaz stones, the design unfolds in a kaleidoscopic floral composition inspired by colour, bloom and unconventional beauty. At its centre, an Australian South Sea pearl is suspended within a kinetic setting, introducing movement and a sense of playfulness, while a pear-cut aquamarine anchors the piece below.
